Hello, welcome! Take a look inside kaa. Here's what I have for you today:
Feeling overwhelmed by Bangkok's sheer size?
Want to experience the best, not just the usual tourist traps?
Ditch the endless research and follow a proven 3-day flow designed for first-timers.
🗓️ A Blueprint For Your First 3 Days
Planning a trip to Bangkok, especially your first time, can feel like trying to drink from a fire hose. There's so much to see, do, and eat! But here’s the secret: you don't need to see everything. You just need a smart, stress-free plan that hits the sweet spots.
Forget spending hours scrolling through blogs. I've distilled years of experience into a simple, effective 3-day framework that lets you soak up the culture, savor the food, and feel completely at ease.
Day 1: Small Circle
US travelers usually arrive at night. Their first day starts the next morning. Europeans arrive around noon. Best for both: take it easy. Thailand is too much at first. And you’re tired. Means: no pressure, no long tours. Avoid confusion and disappointment.
Stay close to your hotel and the pool. Nap. Walk around. Visit a park, a rooftop bar, eat local, and check out 7-Eleven. Slowly dive into the world of “hello welcome“.
🤯 12 Years. 21 Trips. 30 Hot Spots. 326 Hotels
Use my free Thailand hotel database. 30 hot spots, 4 categories, from the islands to the cities, from north to south, from cheap to expensive.
Check the list here.
Day 2: Old Town & Chinatown
Morning: You haven’t been to Bangkok if you didn’t take a boat. Use Google Maps (check out my data plan deal) for navigation. Head to the Old Town (MRT subway station Sanam Chai). Visit the flower market and Museum Siam, and take the 4 baht ferry from Tha Tian Pier to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Ferry back, ignore the scammers (basically all local men on the streets). Visit the amulet market, and eat at Lung Louise.
Afternoon: Take a Chao Phraya express boat south to Sathon Pier. Visit the ship-shaped temple, Wat Yannawa. Take the BTS Skytrain back to your hotel (or interchange at Sala Daeng/Asok to the MRT).
Evening: Chinatown. Foodies dream and photographers heaven. MRT stations: Hua Lamphong and Wat Mangkorn.
Day 3: Culinary Delights & Local Immersion
Morning: Immerse yourself in Thailand’s incredible food scene. Take a Thai cooking class. Recommendation: Bangkok Cooking Academy near BTS On Nut. They first take you to a local market where you will buy your ingredients. And then they teach you how to prepare your favorite dishes.
Afternoon: Chill at your hotel’s pool or at the Tribe Sky beach club on top of the EM Sphere mall.
Evening: Take an early canal boat from Asok pier (MRT Petchaburi) to Phanfa Leelat (last station). Visit the Golden Mount (sunset). Then walk to the Rajadamnern Stadium for a Muay Thai fight night. Nearby food spot: Likhit Gai Yang (grilled chicken). Later, walk through the beautiful old town to the MRT station Sam Yot—back home.

Want to travel to Thailand with me?
I have a crazy idea... a Thailand trip with my viewers and readers. Where? When? What? Completely depends on you and your answers in this survey. If 100 people answer the survey questions, that tour company might let me take the next step.
The survey takes 2 minutes to complete.
WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THIS ISSUE?
