Why Burned-Out Professionals Are Turning to CBD
Long hours, heavy workloads and frustrating coworkers: job burnout is on the rise. Savvy professionals are turning to CBD and its sister compound, CBG, to manage work stress and burnout without losing focus.
Like CBD, CBG is a non-intoxicating compound found naturally in the hemp plant that is known for helping to manage mild/temporary anxiety. And these benefits are backed by science: participants in a 2022 CBDistillery study who took CBD + CBG reported:
Reduced mild or temporary anxiety and tension
Increased focus and mental clarity
That CBD + CBG was more effective than other treatments they tried in the past
When it comes to quality CBD products, CBDistillery is leading the way. Non-GMO, US-grown hemp, 100% clean ingredients, and a 60-day satisfaction guarantee give you one less thing to stress about.

Hello, welcome! Take a look inside kaa. Here's what I have for you today:
Today I will have my first subscriber meetup in Thailand! It’s going to be legendary. When you’re reading this, we’re just starting the night in Bangkok, eating delicious Thai food. Afterwards, I will show four guys my favorite nightlife locations. There will be a hangover tomorrow. For sure …
Something I didn't expect happened when the applications for my Bangkok/Pattaya Meetups closed.
I figured most guys would fit a pretty narrow profile. First trip to Thailand. Wants to see the nightlife. Mid-40s. Solo traveler.
Some of them were exactly that.
But then I read through the rest.
A 72-year-old American asking about part-year Thai residency options. A Slovak tattoo artist in the middle of a year-long trip through Asia. A Mexican guy who just accepted a teaching job in Isan. A 60-year-old German who already lives in Bangkok but wanted to experience a new perspective for a night. A 56-year-old Swiss-British guy quietly planning his retirement somewhere in Southeast Asia. A Filipino-American on a solo trip for his 50th birthday. A German in the middle of a long career break after 20 years at the same company.
I did 20 video calls. One by one.
And here's what I noticed: almost every single one of them said some version of the same thing.
I want someone who knows the place to show me how it actually works. And I want to meet guys who get it.
Not just the bars. Not just the food. The whole thing. How to move through Thailand without feeling like a tourist getting managed at every corner.
The guys who made the final groups ended up coming from the US, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, the UK, Scotland, Switzerland, Mexico. Ages from mid-20s to over 70. Some had never been to Thailand before. Some live here now.
And they are all, genuinely, great guys. Turns out: people who like my content are very likable …
After the calls, I did one extra thing.
I pulled everyone into a private Line group. That’s the Thai WhatsApp. Bangkok guys, Pattaya guys, lunch guys. All in one place.
Here's what’s going on in that group since day one: guys helping each other, sharing their dreams and experiences. The most written line: “Can’t wait.“ Pure excitement.
It’s a small and exclusive group of guys who share the same passion: Thailand.
Good news: I'm going to do more of these meetups!
Bangkok and Pattaya again, for sure. Dates and details are still coming together.
The guys already in the Line group will hear about it first. After that, I'll reach out to people on a waitlist before I open anything publicly.
Here’s What Happens When You Meet Me
The plans for the first meetups look like this:
One Night In Bangkok/Pattaya With Me: 6 hours with me and a bunch of other cool dudes – a night of food, massage, transport and drinks. Limited to 5 participants per night. Men only. The Pattaya plan: 4-5 nightlife areas (Soi 6, Walking Street, Soi Boomerang, LK Metro,...), 10-12 bars, Dinner, Massage. The Bangkok plan: 2 Nightlife Districts (Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza), 4-5 bars, Dinner, Massage.
Lunch In Bangkok/Pattaya With Me: Noon, local Thai (street) food. For men AND women.
Important note: These meetups are NOT guided tours. I’m NOT getting paid.
If you want to be on that waitlist, here's what to do.
Fill out this form.
I'll add you to a running list. When the next round is ready, waitlist people get the message before I announce it to the full newsletter.
If you've been reading for a while and thought about applying last time but didn't, this is the nudge.
Chokdee!
- Tim
P.S. This is not the same as going to Thailand and figuring it out alone. That works fine too. But there's something different about doing it with a group of guys who are genuinely curious, know how to have a good time, and have zero interest in posturing. Ask anyone who was in the last group.
P.P.S. I’m starting a Job Newsletter to help foreigners land their dream jobs in Thailand. Sign up for free here.
